EZiDIG wins The NCE Product Innovation of the Year Award at Civils 2008 making this its fourth industry award since the product's launch in February.

The NCE Innovation of the Year is given to companies that have developed the most innovative products and services to benefit the civil engineering industry during the past year. It is judged by a panel of experts and the winners were announced on the opening day of the show.
 
Graham Reed, UK Sales Manager for the EZiCAT hand-held locators and the EZiDIG was there to accept the award on behalf of Cable Detection. Graham commented, “It is a huge honour for us to receive such a prestigious and recognised industry award and a testament to the quality and success of the product.”

The EZiDIG is the world’s first excavator mounted cable avoidance tool and aims to reduce service strikes by adding an additional, crucial level of safety to the excavation process. EZiDIG has to date won the OPERC Outstanding Contribution to Health and Safety Award followed swiftly by the SED Award for Excellence, it scooped award number three at the Aquatech Exhibition in Amsterdam and now has NCE Product Innovation of the Year to add to the mix, it truly is a multi-award winner!
